To Napa （ナパへ）

With Gary who is visiting us for his vacation from Seattle, we went to Napa for wine tasting. We have visited Turn Bull, Whitehall Lane, Chimney Rock, St. Clement and one more (I forgot...) this time. My favorite is Stag's Leap and Joseph Phelps ;-)
シアトルから休暇で来ているギャリーとナパへワインテイスティングに。今回はターンブル、ホワイトホールレイン、チムニーロック、セントクレメントともう一つに行く。僕のお気に入りは、スタッグズリープとジョセフフェルプス;-)

Cod from Hiro （ヒロから鱈）

Hiro, my friend in SF, went to ocean fishing and kindly shared his catches. He gave me fresh code (Big and medium size ones). Without hesitation, I called for Nabe night! I made nonito frake by using a dried bonito and the special peeler I got from Japan. It was so tasty. Thanks Hiro!
SFでの友達のヒロが海釣りにいったので、親切にも彼の収獲を分けてくれることに。とっても新鮮な鱈（でっかいやつと中くらいのやつ）をもらう。迷わず、今夜は鍋ナイト。日本から持ってきた鰹節と鰹節削り器で準備万端。とても美味しくいただく。ありがとう、ヒロ！

To Kanda (神田へ)

My favorite restaureant in Tokyo is Edokko Sushi in Kanda. However, I am still waiting for Annie to arrive to go together. Instead, I visited this place as a business dinner with one of game publishers. It is great deal! Huge and not expensive at all! 僕の行きつけは、神田の江戸っ子寿司。でもアニーが日本入りして一緒に行くのでそれまでお預け。ビジネス会食として、ゲームパブリッシャーと共に、この場所に。ボリューム・お値段ともにお得！

Speech in TGS （東京ゲームショウでの講演）

I had a chance to visit Japan to attend Tokyo Game Show, the biggest game Expo in the world. With my business partners, I made one hour presentation. It was good experience.
今回世界最大のゲームショウ、東京ゲームショウに参加するため日本への出張が決定。ビジネスパートナーと共に1時間の講演を行うことに。とても勉強になりました。。。

Iron Chef French Sakai （料理の鉄人・フレンチ坂井）

Yes! Business trip to Japan came in mid September to attend and make a presentation in Tokyo Game Show.
とうとう9月中旬に東京ゲームショウでの講演と視察の為、ビジネストリップで日本入り。

Thanks to our business partner, I had 2nd chance to visit Iron Chef Saki's restaurant for business lunch. It was 8 dish course and fabulous moment.
ビジネスパートナーのセッティングで、料理の鉄人、フレンチ坂井氏のレストランで、ビジネスランチ。これで2度目となり、8品コースはとてもすばらしかった。

Next two weeks, I will introduce Tokyo Restaurant Hunt.
久しぶりに日本入り。これから2週間、東京グルメの旅。
