Foodbank Volunteer（フードバンクボランティア）

Last Tuesday, after work around 6pm, Keita-kun and I joined Foodbank volunteer. This is the 2nd time for me and the 4th time for Keita-kun. Basically, you pack up foods (this time peach) in the boxes for donation for two hours. We usually have 30-40 people.
先週の火曜日、仕事の後夕方6時くらいから、圭太君と僕はフードバンクボランティアに加わった。僕は2回目、圭太君は4回目。作業は主に食料を寄付用に2時間かけて箱詰めする（今回は桃）。

この黒シャツの兄ちゃんが寄付用に使えるものと捨てるものをどう見分けるかを説明。


Keita-kun is pretty skilled by now. Focusing on picking up good peaches. While working, we have cool 80's music. This is also mind calming moment for me.
圭太君はもうこの時点ではベテラン級。いい桃を選ぶのに集中している。作業中は、ナイスな80’ｓの音楽が流れたりしていい感じ。これも（集中作業と好きな音楽）僕にとってはとっても気が休まる一時。

After two hours, leader will declare how much work we have achieved. "Today we have achieved 100 boxes of peach! 50 boxes of cucamber! 50 boxes of rice!...". They are good at making us feel good...
2時間後リーダーがどれだけ仕事を成し遂げたかを発表する。「今日は桃100箱！きゅうり50箱！お米20箱！。。。」など彼らは僕らに達成感を感じさせるのがうまい。

After this, we usually go to Pizza and Beer gathering. $10 each and have great chatting time with new friends!　

この後はたいていピザとビールを交えた集いがある。一人10ドルくらいで新しい友達と楽しい会話の一時である。
